Skills & Trills
Summer Programme
This summer, we were back and ready to inspire! The Balogun Bassey CIC Summer Programme was all about supporting children’s wellbeing, creativity, and growth and this year we were in Tower Hamlets!
Every eligible child enjoyed 4 hours of free, action-packed activities each day, designed to engage both body and mind. Alongside a healthy snack, a hot meal, and a drink, children dived into:
-
Creative arts like fine art, clay modelling, mosaic making, and so much more!
-
Sports sessions featuring basketball, football, tennis, and fun games!
Our programme was the perfect blend of fun, learning, and physical activity, giving children a memorable and enriching summer.
It was truly an unforgettable experience full of energy, creativity, and new friendships.

"I was so impressed with how well-organised and nurturing the team was. The coaches and instructors made every child feel included and encouraged, no matter their ability level. My son loved the sports sessions and even discovered a new love for creative arts, which I didn't expect! It gave him such a boost in confidence. Plus, the healthy snacks were a great touch. Huge thanks to the staff for creating such a positive environment — you made this summer unforgettable!"
